Library Catalog Aleph translator doesn't work!

hey,
tried all the recommended steps before posting this message. other translators work, aleph doesn't.
what is the problem?

This is a known issue. The Aleph translator is broken for non-english sites.

thanks for your quick reply. what does it mean "for non english sites" and is there anything i can do in order to bypass this problem, as i managed in the past to translate and index items from Aleph without a problem?

aleph translator still doesn't work on any of the isralei universities library catalogs (including the national library catalog), except for, mysteriously, one library catalog: http://aleph.technion.ac.il/F?func=file&file_name=find-b&local_base=tec01 (the technion catalog).

maybe this can help to solve the problem faster.
