Zotero database and MacPro...?

Having depended on a Windows machine for a time time, I recently decided to purchase a MacPro in part to escape from viruses. Now, I am wondering, is it possible to move my Windows Zotero database into my MacPro machine? I have downloaded the Mac version 4 something of Zotero and I have manually added a few entries. But there must be an easier way to do things when the datebase is large. Thanks for whatever advice you can give.

Just follow either option here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/transferring_a_library
the Zotero database is OS-independent.

Many thanks. I did not realise that the database was OS independent. This will greatly facilitate things.
