Synching Quits Without Completing

First time synching halted without completing when "tags too long" error triggered. See below:

Despite removing that record from the Library, restarting, etc., synching still fails with the same error time, after time, after time, after ....

Not good.

    How have you confirmed that this long tab is absent from your library? Have you emptied the trash?

    Confirmed? Well I deleted the entire record and re-searched for it without success, so I guess it is gone. Yes, I did empty the trash.
