How do I sync my library from the Zotero website to the Firefox plug-in?

I recently had to get my hard drive replaced and lost my Zotero plug-in for Firefox. How can I download my Zotero files and information from the website to my new Firefox plug-in so it is updated in my browser?

    Just by using regular sync: https://www.zotero.org/support/sync

    And that won't sync it to my out-of-date plug-in? I have some files already in the plug-in because I used an old back-up for my hard drive. But I want to send the files from the web to my local plug-in and NOT vice versa. Is there a way to select which direction the synch happens in?

    The sync merges what's on the server and what's local and always uses the more recent version of the same item, so you really can just use sync.
    (There is a restore from server option under Sync/Reset which you can also use, but it doesn't add anything here and if you accidentally pick the wrong direction, you actually do overwrite all your data)
