Upgrade StorageFiles cannot be created or deleted ...
This error message:
"The file 'C:\Users\xxxx\Zotero\storage\5AZ98J3I\warning.gif@22' cannot be created.
Check that the file is not currently in use, that its permissions allow write access, and that it has a valid filename.
Restarting your computer or disabling security software may also help."
This appears to be for HTML references only. The directory referenced seems to have a lot of javascript code, gifs and other web content that is downloaded.
I have tried the suggestions and nothing seems to work.
I only have gotten this on a Windows 10 installation. It works fine on a Windows 7 installation I have.

adamsmithThe reasons this happens are either write permissions to that directory or security software. Check on the former, test disabling the latter.
