how do I place a citation on a works cited page?

I can't seem to find how to highlight one of my citations to add to a works cited page.
It won't let me highlight the citation.

Are you working with a word processor document -- a manuscript with added citations -- and you need to add a bibliography?

If you just want to create a bibliography (not a list of references cited in a manuscript), see:
