Display last Author
Hi,
there is something, that would be of great use. Zotero displays things as Title, Creator, Year an so on and is able to sort it. Maybe it could be completed by "last author". I ask for this because in natural science the head of research group comes usually last and while someone publishes one or two articles from this group to a specific subject, the whole group often publishes way more over the years.
Of course some of you may say that it is possible to use folders, but i think others will understand that it is not the same.
i hope you think it is a good idea.
greetings

I'm curious about the commercial applications you mention though? I don't believe you can display last authors in Endnote, Refworks, or Mendeley, for example, and that's most of the commercial market.
My solution was to use Better Bibtex (https://retorque.re/zotero-better-bibtex/), which has native support for last authors in its citation key generator. Then I use Zotfile to automatically rename using the {%b} wildcard, which pulls in the citation key.
