Problems with ACS translator

I am just finding that the ACS translator is not working properly: it does not import some references.

This, for example: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/ma00069a017

Zotero 5.0-beta.200+182cf67 & Windows 10

I have tried several times, even restarting Firefox and Zotero. Updating translators does not help either...

Other references from the same (and other ACS journals) works correctly.

works for me on same set-up. This is the URL as you see it? Do you get an error message or does it simply not import?

In either case, could we get an error report ID from the connector? https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems#zotero_connectors

It simply does not import.

Curiously, if I try to import via right click, only shows the options to import via "ACS publications" or as a web page. No other options like DOI, etc

There is no report ID from the Firefox conector.

What version of the connector is this?

(I'm vaguely remembering problems with ACS before, related to floating ad windows/frames or something along those lines. The lack of other import options would suggest something similar).

Can we see a Debug ID for reloading the page and attempting a save @warguelles?

The Debug ID is D2074366667.

But today, during this test, the reference was imported. Nevertheless, the lack of import options persisted.

Uppsss! Again the same problem with other ACS reference... The connector does not import.

@adomasven In this case the zotero connector Debug ID is D1451156361.

@warguelles can you include page load/refresh along with attempted save in the Debug ID?

Reloaded the page with the reference (the same page mentioned above) and tried to import, is it correct?

Thanks for reporting. We'll update the connector within 24 hours with a bugfix.

Now I updated the translators, and tried again (same reference as above). It was imported into Zotero, but only metadata... no PDF. Just if you need, the new Debug ID is D1942510871.

The PDF issue is a separate thing and related to ACS translator. For that particular article it tries to download the lo-res version of the PDF, but it's not available on ACS website itself.

(if this is a common issue, we can work around this by checking for the "0 KB", but right now that just looks like an ACS bug).
