Upgrade StorageNY Times Page Hangs the Sync
(I am a new user of both Zotero, which I want for the sync, and of Firefox, which I want for Zotero. My difficulties starting up and doing my first sync are chronicled in http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/6487/. Part of that trouble is followed up here.)
I have been learning file syncing, and my attempts to sync were all failing. The evidence was that the sync spinner kept spinning, the progress bar didn’t move for hours, and hovering over the progress bar showed 0% progress, no download, and n KB (0/x files) remaining.
I eventually discovered that the sync was blocked by a NY Times blog entry I had captured, specifically http://frugaltraveler.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/03/24/staying-in-touch-internationally-on-the-cheap/. Anytime that snapshot was in my materials, either directly or in the trash, sync failed. As soon as it was gone, and emptied from the trash, sync succeeded. I have retested this several times, all with the same result. My questions:
1) Shouldn’t the NY Times translator recognize this blog?
2) What is it about this page that keeps it from syncing, and can it be fixed?
3) More generally, can sync somehow be set to kill off a failed sync, instead of hanging indefinitely?

Please post examples of URLs that fail to translate & should (e.g. the articles you mentioned) in another thread.
I had also problems with NY Times site. The problem was really like this: I saved to zotero some articles, it worked very well. However, there were some articles which were not seen in the list. After saving them using right click, I could not save any articles from NYT anymore - even if there were lists shown and I could choose articles.
After deleting these oddly behaving articles, the site works normally. Two of these articles were: (I actually do not know if these particular ones posed the problem)

Would be nice if all the articles would work and at least so that they would not harm the funcioning of the translator if saved individually. Thanks for any effort!
I am using Mac Os X and the latest versions of software (beta 2.0 of zotero)
