moving subcollections

How do I move a "sub-collection" to put it under a different "collection"? I tried clicking and dragging. I can drag the sub-collection but when I release the mouse the sub-collection goes back where it was. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks.

Clicking and dragging the sub collection should work. Can you send a Debug ID (https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output) for an attempt to drag a sub collection to a different parent collection that fails?
