Zotero Server side Software

Working for a global company looking for a solution to collect, store and share internally, ,across multiple countries, bibliographic data and full text.
The client side is well documented but what about the server side ?
Is there a way to get its own server on a private cloud ?
  • The Zotero server software is open source and available on github. You can install it on your own server and sync a patched version of the Zotero client with it. Some users on the Zotero-dev Google group have done some work outlining the steps for this. Note, though, that this setup is not officially supported.
  • What bwiernik says except that I'm pretty sure Zotero 5.0 does no longer require patching to sync to a custom server. It's just a hidden preference. (You still need to set up the server, though, and any existing instructions for that I'm aware of are relatively old while you need an up to data dataserver for 5.0 sync).

We're planning to offer a Docker setup for the dataserver soon after 5.0 is released, which should make this much easier. Running a dataserver that supports 4.0 is considerably more complicated.
