how can i change the data of an item

i have items in my library whitout metadata, so i do it by myself, but they are not like i will wish, so i want to delete it and re do it, but i dont know haw to do

    All items can be delete/change by typping on keyboard. But I think, this is not new for you. What are you mean exactly?

    i mean that i put the autors of a documentn in the element tags, but there was a confusion of the order of the autors, i cant delete this document of mi list of documents but i just realize how to edit that
