No zotero icon appearing

I have a new laptop (hp) and dont manage to get zotero icon in my url. I used to work with zotero on at least three of my other computers and it worked fine. I downloaded zotero again today and nothing. I apply google books, science direct and similar pages...

e.g. searching for this book:
https://books.google.si/books?id=VlG1DAAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=barnard+substantive+law+of+the+eu&hl=sl&sa=X&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=barnard substantive law of the eu&f=false

ID for the error is: 199910691. I use chrome.

I will appreciate your advice.

    Just to confirm -- you have both the Zotero Chrome extension _and_ Zotero Standalone installed?

    I have installed zotero exactly the same way as before on my previous computers. I have the function in word and I have this Z icon on my desktop. All seems fine, except for the icon not appearing in URL.

    Sorry, but since this is the most likely problem, could you please actually confirm that you have the Zotero Chrome extension installed? Without that extension, you will not see an import icon for Zotero.

    I appologise, I have done it now and it works. Many thanks! It seems I am unable to write anymore without zotero working...
