DOIs "regected" by the magic wand

We have several DOIs that we have tried to capture using the magic wand and we receive the "Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier. Please verify the identifier and try again." We know that the URIs for the links are resolving properly, but the following cannot be captured with Zotero utilizing the full link or just the DOI:

https://doi.org/10.5479/data_serc/10088/31948
https://doi.org/10.5479/data_nasm/10088/31950
https://doi.org/10.5479/data_serc/10088/30918
https://doi.org/10.5479/data_serc/10088/30919

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Sue
  • I think our import script doesn't know what to do with datasets registered with CrossRef (rather than Datacite). I'll try to take a look as soon as I can, but might take a little, nevertheless.
  • @sil-dsd I have this fixed now:

Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences. If you're using Standalone, restart Zotero and your browser after updating.

Any further problems let us know & thanks for reporting
  • Hello, I am having the same issue. My version of Zotero has been installed within the last week. It is not recognising any of the DOI codes I am trying. e.g.
    http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.ecoser.2015.05.009
    http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jrurstud.2016.12.008
    10.1016/j.envsci.2012.07.022
    Any advice gratefully received
    Best wishes
  • @Beggady Those all work for me. Check your internet connection; it may also have just been a temporary hiccup with the DOI resolver server.
