Is Zotero automatically adding/removing tags?
I recently had a growing list of sync conflicts and found a whole bunch of warnings like this:
"The Zotero tag 'World news' has been added to and/or removed from items on multiple computers since the last sync. It has been added to the following local items:" and then there are a couple news articles listed.
I NEVER manually add or remove tags; that's just not a feature I ever use. Also, the articles that these warnings applied to were generally articles that I read, clicked once to save to my library, and then never did anything more with.
Why is Zotero making these changes to my library, especially when it's causing conflict?

dstillmanedited May 1, 2017I can't think of any reason this would happen without you or someone in a group library making changes to tags, but in any case, don't worry about it — this message won't happen in the upcoming Zotero 5.0.
