[Zotero 5.0] Proxy settings are not completely transfered during migration (firefox > standalone)

I just installed the latest beta (5.0-beta.183+7661f71) after some years using the firefox version.

the database has been migrated without any obvious problem but I couldn't sync, nor check for new version or use the doi field.

In about:config, I found that my proxy settings had been correctly imported (network.proxy.http, network.proxy.ssl and related ports) but network.proxy.type hasn't (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.proxy.type).
After modifying the value to 1 (manual configuration) like my firefox instead of 5 (automatic configuration, which doesn't work here), everything works as expected.

    As far as I know, Zotero 5.0 doesn't actually transfer any non-extensions.zotero settings from Firefox. Is it possible you had an old installation of Standalone with those settings?

    You are right, now that you say it, I remember testing the standalone version some years ago. The profile probably lingered in my profile.
