Upgrade StorageItems list fails to finish loading if Zotero pane is immediately hidden after opening

The above screenshot shows the state of Zotero after rapidly showing, then hiding, then showing again the Zotero pane. The "Loading items list..." message never disappears, and the browser must be restarted in order to use Zotero.
