Zotero not verified?

I am using Firefox 52.0.2 (Linux, Ubuntu 14.04) and recently reinstalled the browser. I could not find the Zotero extension on the Mozilla site so I downloaded it from here. Now, today, from Mozilla, I am getting an error message that the extension is not verified.

    Zotero is verified. If you downloaded from zotero.org/download , this is a Firefox issue. There are a couple of mozilla help posts on verfied add-ons incorrectly showing up as unverified, check those.

    That's what I figured. I tried once again to restart to browser and it now no longer shows it as unverified. Oh well ...
