Upgrade StorageChicago: Can I get footnotes to have BOTH Note AND Full Note?

I am a historian using Chicago and would like to know whether I could have 2 Chicago formats appear in my footnotes.
For Books, Book Sections, Dissertations, and Journals, I'd like to use NOTE. For Letters/Manuscripts, I'd like to use FULL NOTE. Can we perhaps specify the citation format according to the "Item Type"? (Otherwise, NOTE erases necessary notations from my Letters/Manuscripts; however, FULL adds too many words to the total word count, and I am down to the wire here with my publisher. Thanks!!!)
