create unique citation format for brainstorming purposes?

I want to export a group of citations including only the author's name, year of publication, and some other rarely-used section (that I will populate with my own short descriptions) for the purpose of reviewing and organizing the literature associated with my dissertation. Essentially I want a list that looks like:

Adams (2009) Religious institutions played an important role in TZ social and political development- narrative of details.
Barns (2016) East African church schools had complex impact on gender relations in their communities, 1935-1950.
Etc...

Is there a way to create my own out-put settings so that only the fields I want are included? This is for my own personal use.

Of course you can do that. If you can find a style that fits it quite good already we can then use that as a template and give you some hints what to change.
