Word for Mac 2011 scripts only work with FireFox, not standalone

As the subject says. When I've got just the standalone running, Word says it can't communicate.

Looking at the applescript, I can see that FF creates the expected pipe file at ~/.zoteroIntegrationPipe, but the Standalone hasn't.

Restarting the standalone solved the problem, and the standalone created the file itself, but I'm curious what might have happened.

I don't think it's worth investigating something solved by restarting the software, to be honest. Pipes can sometimes be a bit finnicky.

I was wondering whether this might be something known. I don't use Word or OpenOffice a lot these days, but I can set up a cron job to check for the file and restart Zotero in its absence.
