Use Zotero with local server

Is there a possibility to use Zotero with a local server? That means that there is the SQL database with my library on the server and you can access it from two clients at the same time. At the moment the entire library is locked when you use it, not even for reading.

I know, there is the possibility to use the web server but it should have worked without internet...

    No: sqlite, on which the Zotero clients depend, is inherently single user.

    It is technically possible to run your own zotero server, but this is not supported and only for very advanced users.

    Specifically, running a sqlite database (like Zotero) on a server like you suggest will very quickly lead to corruption.
