Can't sync with my Zotero account

Hello,

I'm having some issues syncing with my Zotero account. I entered in my username and password under the preferences. But, it doesn't seem to sync up (the icon just kept on circling endlessly). I'm wondering if I need to set anything else up. i'm behind a firewall so that could be the issue. But, I'm not sure how I can set the proxy with my Zotero standalone. Any help would be appreciated.

  • It looks like this is only a problem for the standalone. I tried it using the firefox add-on and the sync worked fine. I've set the proxy on my Firefox browser. I think that's the only difference. I don't know how to set up the proxy on the Zotero standalone though.
  • Zotero uses the system proxy settings by default. Make sure those are set correctly.
