LibreOffice plugin not compatible with Firefox Plugin?

Hi. My LibreOffice plugin wont work unless StandAlone is running and my Firefox plugin wont work if StandAlone is running. Can you please either allow StandAlone and Firefox plugin to run simultaneously or make it easier to add webpages to StandAlone?
  • Which versions of the two do you have? Firefox plugin and Standalone absolutely work together.
  • I have the latest stable versions of all three pieces of software.
  • There is also a third improvement that could be made that would fix this triangle of incompatibility, update the LibreOffice plugin so that it can work properly with just the Firefox plugin and without needing to run StandAlone.

At least one of the three needs to be fixed.

You may be (perhaps, probably are) correct about the versions. However, when asked about version numbers it is a good idea to provide the actual version numbers you have installed.

edit: It is common for a user to be convinced that s/he is using the most recent version when, in fact, that isn't the case.

    LibreOffice Version: 5.2.5.1
    Zotero StandAlone version 4.0.29.17
    Zotero Firefox plugin version 4.0.29.16
  • Versions look good. When you say Standalone doesn't work with the Firefox add-on, what exactly is happening when you have both running?

The LibreOffice add-on also works with the Firefox add-on. You have the LibreOffice add-on installed in Firefox? https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation#libreoffice
