I upgraded my work computer to Zotero 5.0 Beta and ran in to some issues. This computer is Windows 7 64-bit and before the upgrade I had Zotero 4.0.x Firefox and Standalone. After the upgrade I have Zotero 4.0.x Firefox and Zotero 5.0 Beta. The Firefox version was not started during or after the upgrade.
Error Report ID: 1839672782
After I installed 5.0 Beta, the first time I started it warned me of a blank database and suggested I manually move the zotero data from the firefox profile. I closed all windows and _copied_ the entire contents of the zotero directory inside my Firefox profile, to the C:\Users\myname\Zotero folder. When I restarted 5.0 Beta, it reported an error and asked me to restart Zotero. I chose to just restart and ignored the error. The next restart, I was seeing what looked like my entire library. But when I click on one of the sub-folders (could be a collection, or in the above reported error case, the "duplicate items" folder, I would get an error.
Update: A couple more restarts of Zotero 5.0 Beta and things look much better. I am noticing that overall the speed of displaying the contents of a collection or saved search is better than 4.0, BUT sometimes it can take much longer (for the same collection that a few seconds ago was displayed immediately) and when that happens, it affects all subsequent folder selections. Further, comparatively, the "unindexed files" and "duplicate items" seem the most troublesome. That said, as I write this, even these two folders are being displayed fast and correct.
@gurdas: Re: upgrade issues, that definitely sounds buggy, but hard to debug without the specific error messages you were seeing. (I'd recommend taking a screenshot if it's something you think you might want to report.)
Note the "2297 items" in the view is what I see when I have "My Library" selected. If I check numbers in the Zotero Preferences, it is 2016 items Indexed, 2 Partial, and 119 Unindexed.

Ok, thanks. I just recreated the error by selecting the "unindexed files" saved search.
