Style Error: APA
I have noticed a couples errors in the APA citation of papers and posters presented at conferences. I am using the APA 6th edition style guide and this APA style blog post (http://blog.apastyle.org/apastyle/2012/08/how-to-cite-materials-from-meetings-and-symposia.html) as the citation guides.
1. The date field should contain both the year and the month of the conference. Zotero only lists the month.
2. The title of the paper or poster should be in italics. It is in roman font (not italicized) on Zotero. (doesn't show on examples)
3. Papers should say "Paper presented at the meeting of Organization Name" following the title and "Poster session presented..." for posters. However, Zotero currently has no item type for poster or poster session, and cites papers as "Presented at the Organization Name" (missing both "paper" and "meeting of").
Thanks,
Lauren

In the Presentation item type, enter the type of presentation under 'type' (Paper, Poster, etc.). You should enter the name of the conference (not just the Organization) under 'meeting name' (e.g., "annual conference of the American Psychological Association").
