    Hi I am having a similar problem. I am also getting the message: "the zotero sync server did not accept your username and password" attached to an exclamation mark next to the sync symbol. But the same username and password work on the zotero site itself. Is anything going on?

    Clear your username and password completely in the Sync pane of the preferences, restart Zotero for good measure, and try again.
