Zotero is broken in NeoOffice

I just "upgraded" to NeoOffice 3.0 and alas Zotero is now broken. It had been working beautifully before. I removed the old plug in and installed a new one but that had no effect-- I got the same error message -- a screen with lots of code. I have a MAC with OS 10.5.6.

Does anybody have any ideas about how to fix this?
