Why does what I type in the prefix not match what shows up in the footnote?
When I type in the prefix:
See Collins’ comments regarding Wesley’s view of human depravity being ‘fully in the footprints’ of Augustine, Luther, and Calvin.
It shows up as:
See Collins’ comments regarding Wesley’s view of human depravity being "fully in the footprints" of Augustine, Luther, and Calvin.
In another instance I had a list "1) xxx, 2) xxx, 3) xxx" and it changed every other instance to a square bracket: "1] xxx, 2) xxx, 3] xxx"
Can you tell me more about how and why this happens, better yet, how can I just have it present what I actually type?
I am using CMOS Full Note.
Thanks for your help!
