Upgrade StorageKeyboard Shortcut for "New Subcollection..."
I've read through the posts I could find on keyboard shortcuts and installed Zutilo as per this post: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/customizable-shortcuts/, but the other plugin recommended therein has since been deleted (customizable shortcuts).
However, looking through Zutilo's options and searching for additional methods, I cannot for the life of me find a way to make a keyboard shortcut for creating a new subcollection (or even a collection for that matter, though it does have its own button in the Firefox addon).
Am I missing something? I'm not savvy enough to crack open the coding or anything unless I had very clear instructions—I'd rather not break things :) Many thanks.

Don't think that's the case for Mac, though.
I can assign custom shortcuts to any menu items of any apps through the System Preferences (though this is not always successful), but Zotero isn't technically an app as it's an add-on to Firefox. I tried making one and just attaching it to Firefox as the app but that did not work.
From what I understand of the about:config, that allows changing existing shortcuts rather than creating ones?
I've also come across a page about keyconfig with a link that installs to Firefox, but FF threw up a warning. I can't seem to find it in the official add on place. And am not sure if would be able to do this either.
