Entering math and symbols in notes with TinyMCE

How can one use the tinyMCE editor to enter maths and symbols into the notes in zotero.

It appears that tinyMCE has the functionality, it is just not activated in the zotero version?

Many thanks for any assistance

tinyMCE's insert symbol features just generates HTML for the symbol. You can stick in any sort of character you want in your notes, for example try pasting these two in. (Æ ñ)

If you are using a Mac you can make use of their character palette. I would hazard to guess that there are similar options for other platforms.
