Style Error: [Cornea]

I have been denied publishing with the Journal, Cornea, due to the following errors. I am using the most up to date Cornea template and Zotero stand alone.

1. References should not show their issue numbers
2. Et al. should follow the name of the third author

Please help fix this, I am not savvy enough.

Hi,
Cornea is a dependent style of the American Medical Association style. We need to check if the AMA style is wrong, too, or just Cornea and in that case then see what we'll do.
@Rintze Just looking into this, there seems to be restricted access to the actual AMA Manual of Style website and looking up the style guide from various different universites I see the style both with and without the issue number. How should we deal with this?
Make an independent?

I have a copy of the AMA guide. The 7/3 setting for et al is definitely correct (and I've confirmed that Cornea really does want 4/3) so this probably needs an independent style, though it's worth looking at some options with the search by example, since both of these are fairly common changes, so we may have this already, perhaps in another Wolters Kluiwer (.lww) journal.

Here is the modified style for submitting your paper. These changes are super simple to make and nothing trivial, especially with the tools we have available now (visual editor, Zotero test pane etc). https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step

Can I leave it to you to make the the changes in GitHub? I just don't have the Git client to make multiple PRs together to also remove the dependent style. Thanks :)

I made the change in the repository: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/2530

(@damnation, I did this all via GitHub. Add the new style as usual, then navigate to the old dependent style in the feature branch created for the PR and delete it.)

Looks like we never updated the styles page updater for the new Travis notification format. (It runs every 4 hours anyway, so that's why there are other recent updates.) Should be back to immediate (within a few minutes) updates now.

Oh, and @italoamericougar, you should be able to get the latest version of this style by clicking the "Update now" button in the General tab of the Zotero preferences (or you can reinstall it from the Zotero Style Repository).
