How to switch off the welcome-tab of Zoteros-Firefoxplugin
Hello,
i would like to use Zotero as the reference-manager for an linux-based Live-Image [1] for students because the plugins for Firefox and LibreOffice works well out of the box and are very handy.
But at the first start of the Firefox-webbrowser an additional tab with the Zotero-homepage will be opened. Because its an read-only Live-Image (just remember the Linux-CDs contained in several computer-magazines) this "welcome-page" will unfortunately show up after every boot. But the most annoying things is, it covers the Startpage with the manual. [2] (An small info-bubble at the first 1-2 starts would be ok.)
How can I switch off this welcome-tab of Zotero in Firefox?

bwiernikHave you checked whether he Standalone version of Zotero has such a welcome screen? For technical reasons, development on the Firefox-based Zotero plugin has been discontinued. All further development will be on the Standalone version, so it would be better in general to use the Standalone version for this purpose anyway.

adamsmithIt sounds from the ticket that you've found the first run option preference which should disable this -- does it not?
