Zotero firefox plugin has stopped working with Amazon

The Zotero Firefox plugin has stopped working for me (and also a colleague) when we select an Amazon book. It works for items that it considers to be web sites in Amazon (i.e. where we get the page icon) but not when you get the book icon. We get the error message "an error occured when saving this item". We have not installed a new version of Firefox. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Just to add that it works fine in Chrome but my colleague is using Zotero for Firefox.

We'd need the exact URL as way as version numbers for Zotero for Firefox, Firefox, and Zotero Standalone

The URL for Amazon is http://www.amazon.co.uk I have found it happens with all books - but here is the URL of one particular title:

...as I say it happens with all titles.

The version of Firefox I am using is 51.0.1 (32-bit) and the version of Zotero is 4.0.29.16

I'm not sure about my colleague. She is working remotely and will struggle to find version numbers. However, perhaps she has hte same configuration as me (as above).

Works for me. It sounds like you're just using the Firefox add-on, no Zotero Standalone?
Could you send& provide an error report ID after triggering the error, please?

And I assume you're in the UK? (asking because it's possible sites look different based on where you are)

Hello, Thank you for getting back. Yes, I'm in the UK. The error report ID is 583781679. Yes, other pages are working including the Worldcat page that you mention (plus my own library catalogue, other web sites and databases).

I was able to reproduce the error once, but not thereafter. The first time I clicked on the book link, my translator only had options for "Save to Zotero as Web Page", and clicking on the icon created a web page entry. Next, I deleted all extra information from the URL and trimmed it down to https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/0761973532/ and this time the translator had the "Save to Zotero using "Amazon"" option, and it saved it as book with relevant fields populated. I tried recreating the error after clearing my cookies but now I get the correct translator option each time.

I also noticed somewhat odd behavior when Zotero is creating the item as a book. One, the "Saving to My Library" message in bottom-left stays on for a few extra seconds. But the more strange thing is that the item does not appear in my library until 15 seconds AFTER the message has closed.

Zotero 4.0.29.16 on Firefox 51.0.1

@angelacarritt2: Does this happen with your other Firefox extensions disabled? If so, a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a save attempt that produces the error would be helpful.
