[Style Correction Request]: Australian Mammalogy
Hi,
Just a minor correction required:
If there are 2x citations with more than two authors (same first author) from the same year the current style gives:
For example:
--------------------------------------------
In text:
(Southgate, Paltridge, Masters and Ostendorf 2007)
(Southgate, Paltridge, Masters and Carthew 2007)
Reference list:
Southgate, R., Paltridge, R., Masters, P., and Carthew, S. (2007). Bilby distribution and fire: a test of alternative models of habitat suitability in the Tanami Desert, Australia. Ecography 30, 759–776. doi:10.1111/j.2007.0906-7590.04956.x
Southgate, R., Paltridge, R., Masters, P., and Ostendorf, B. (2007). Modelling introduced predator and herbivore distribution in the Tanami Desert, Australia. Journal of Arid Environments 68, 438–464. doi:10.1016/j.jaridenv.2006.06.006
--------------------------------------------
BUT it should be:
--------------------------------------------
In text:
(Southgate et al. 2007a)
(Southgate et al. 2007b)
Reference list:
Southgate, R., Paltridge, R., Masters, P., and Carthew, S. (2007a).
(2007b). Modelling introduced predator and herbivore distribution in the Tanami Desert, Australia. Journal of Arid Environments 68, 438–464. doi:10.1016/j.jaridenv.2006.06.006
Please note: the "a" and "b" should be in italics.
--------------------------------------------
Any chance of getting this updated greatly appreciated...
Regards,
Martin.

Note sure if I can attach a PDF here?
Otherwise here is the link - I think it shows just the references but not the text of the article.

If you need the text let me know..
1. Make australian-mammology.csl independent based on emu-austral-ornithology.csl with disambiguate-add-year error fix
see: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/2482
2. Check emu-austral-ornithology.csl to get it taken into the Taylor&Francis automated styles
I'd change this in the parent style -- few style guides are that precise and if one journal disambiguates this way, so will others (the fix is to remove the disambiguate-add-names attribute)
We'd only be able to do 2. if T&F includes it in their data (and gives us said data).
That's been closed and PRed: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/2483
edit: the pull request has gone through and you can use the new style now, @pseudophryne
