collection and items disappeared

Within a group library, I had a collection with a number of items. The collection has disappeared and none of the items are in the group library or the trash. The rest of the project team claims they have not touched this. Is there any way to retrieve these items? Thanks.

    We'll take a look to see if we can tell what happened, but in the meantime you (and others, particularly anyone who hasn't yet synced) should make a backup of your Zotero data directory, which will automatic backups from the last few days that you might be able to restore from.

    Is this for a group the account you're posting from is a member of? This account is in two groups, and both show lots of items online, which you should be able to see from the website. Is this only happening in your own local Zotero?

    Oh, sorry, you're saying this is an issue with a specific collection, not the entire library?
