Cell Transplantation Style
Hi,
I'm actually facing an issue that I can't seem to solve by myself...so I kindly ask you for advice ;)
submitting guidelines of Cell Transplantation report "References in the text should be cited by superscript number separated by a comma and listed in numerical order as they appear in the text (double spaced) on a separate page at the end of the manuscript. "
The style I found in the repository gives me text citations as "(1)" and then lists all references in alphabetical order...and I can't seem to be able to modify it to make it work the right way.
I managed to leave the brackets by deleting prefix="(" suffix=")" and add the superscript by adding vertical-align="sup"
and I deleted the alphabetical sorting by removing
Now, it looks pretty much ok in the Style Editor window, with the exception that the bibliography looks like this:
1. Altman, J.
Are new
neurons
formed in the
brains of
adult
mammals?
Science.
135:1127–1128;
1962.
And this is my first problem
Anyway, I save the style with a new name, I double-click on it and Zotero standalone asks me if I want to update the cell-transplantation style with my modifications, I click "ok"...and then when I add the citations in word I only get the superscripts, but the bibliography is in alphabetical order and not in order of appearance
Does anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you!

Thanks for pointing this out.
The journal has apparently moved to the CSE style which is in the repository: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=cse&format=numeric
I'll look into making this an independent style so it uses CSE, so other users don't have the same issue.
thank YOU for pointing that out to me. I guess I should have been able to reach the same conclusion by myself, but I found the cell transplantation style and got stuck with it in my head...the council of science editors style is indeed perfect
Thanks again!
cell trasplantation journal specifies that references should list all authors and abbreviated journal titles; any idea on how to modify these fields without messing up the style?
Here is the code for the style with abbr. journal titles and with all authors.

That's been done.
