MLA Work Cited Editor

According to MLA 8th edition, on the Work Cited page, a book with an editor should be cited followed by a period:

Crowley, Sharon, and Debra Hawhee. Ancient Rhetorics for Contemporary Students. 3rd ed., Pearson, 2004.

However, the default MLA 8th editions CSL does not include the period following ed ... Can someone help me figure out how to edit the CSL to add the period?

I'm confused -- are you talking about the 3rd edition of a book (as per your example) or a book by an editor (as per what you describe)?

It does for me (and you can check by hovering over the name of the style on https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:modern-language-association-8th-edition
My best guess would be that you have "3rd ed" in the edition field. Zotero would just print that as is. Just enter the number 3 to get correct display across styles.

That did it ... I imported the book via ISBN and it added 3rd ed ... I changed to 3 and works properly now.
