No Zotero label on Word tab
I just installed the Word addin for Zotero and a new tab appeared in the Insert ribbon of Word, and the tab has the normal Zotero options (Insert Citation, etc).
However, the tab itself is blank, it has no label. I expected the tab to say "Zotero".
Is there a way to correct this?

Try re-installing the plugin in Word. Step 3 under "Zotero toolbar doesn't appear" here:
https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting
If Can you take a screenshot, upload it to a site like Imgur or Dropbox, and post a link here?
The OS is Windows 8.1 Enterprise
Word is version Microft Office Stanard 2013
Language is English
Word Theme is White
I do not have imgur/dropbox account. The tab appears and is normal, it is just that it is blank. It is about a centimeter wide and has no text or icon on it.
If not, click on Add-ins in the Options window (it's already open from when you clicked Customize Ribbon). Find Zotero.dotm in the list of installed add-ins and navigate to its location in Windows Explorer. Close Word. Make a copy of Zotero.dotm (if you have any cloud storage account, upload it and post a link to help with troubleshooting). Change the name of the file to Zotero.zip. Open the zip file. Open the customUI folder. Open customUI.xml in Notepad or another text editor.
Change this text:
getLabel="ZoteroRibbon.ZoteroTabLabel"
to:
label="Zotero"
or (if you prefer the uppercase letter style Word 2013 uses):
label="ZOTERO"
Save the xml file. Close the zip folder. Change its name back to Zotero.dotm. Open Word. It should be fixed.
(Note, this normally shouldn't be necessary, and I've never seen this problem before.)
Modifying the .dotm file as described above had the effect of adding a new tab with the label "ZOTERO" which has the Zotero controls inside of it. The blank tab is also there. So, now I have two Zotero tabs, one of which is labeled ZOTERO and the other of which is blank (unlabeled).
Also, what version number of Zotero are you using?
Deleting the .dotm files and reinstalling results in a Zotero tab which is blank (unlabeled).
@Simon Any ideas?
