I believe there is an issue with the ClinicalKey translator.

Report ID: 1503750668

1. Start Firefox
2. Visit WordCat.org website for McGill University
3. Search for ClinicalKey (http://mcgill.worldcat.org/search?qt=wc_org_mcgill&q=clinicalkey&scope=2&oldscope=&wcsbtn2w=Search&fq=&dblist=239,283,638)
4. Proceed to the website via provided link
5. Redirected to McGill EZproxy server
6. Sign-in and proceed to ClinicalKey's website
7. Look for a reference and attempt to save it to Zotero library using Zotero for Firefox...which results in the above mentioned error message with a link for Troubleshooting translators...(https://www-clinicalkey-com.proxy3.library.mcgill.ca/#!/browse/book/3-s2.0-C20090318000)

8. All recommend steps performed yet I keep receiving the error message...

Using:
macOS Sierra Version 10.12.3 (16D32)
Firefox 51.0.1 (64-bit)
Zotero for Firefox (Version 4.0.29.16)
Also have Zotero Standalone installed (Version 4.0.29.15 - No available updates when last checked)

Thank you
  • @dstillman could you get me the error report, please?
  • @parsehb -- does it make a difference if you quit Zotero Standalone? And just to be sure a) saving from other sites still works and b) when you hover over the "Save to Zotero" icon, it mentions "Clinical Key" in parentheses, right?
  • @parsehb this is because Zotero is failing to detect the correct URL for this catalog behind the proxy (i.e. www.clinicalkey.com instead of www-clinicalkey-com). If you prefer using Zotero Standalone, you can update Zotero for Firefox to Zotero Connector, which is going to be the official way to use Zotero on Firefox soon and handles hyphenated https proxies properly.
  • @adomasven -- that shouldn't be the case. The target for Clinical Key allows for hyphens because we foresaw this happening (and the original submitter really wanted it) https://github.com/zotero/translators/blob/master/Clinical Key.js#L5

It's probably not related, but you're getting a ZotFile error:
TypeError: zz is undefined" {file: "chrome://zotfile/content/zotfile.js" line: 1327
So you might try with that disabled. If that doesn't help, a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a save attempt that fails might be helpful.
