Upgrade StorageFull group storage blocking personal sync?

I have both a personal library, with purchased storage, and I am a member in a group library not owned by me. When I try to sync zotero (I have tried both in Firefox, and in the standalone version) I get a warning/error (yellow triangle icon) that tells me that the group storage is full, but "other zotero data will continue to sync with the server". This last bit seems to be incorrect, at least my personal library when viewed via the website is visibly out of sync with the view in either Zotero Standalone, or Firefox. Anyone else experience this?
Possibly a related issue, possibly separate, when I try to merge two items in Standalone or Firefox, Zotero crashes.

adamsmithDefinitely not a general issue, so you'd want to run through https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing as for any other sync issue.
