Juris-M/RTF-ODF Scan et Mac OS Sierra not working ?

Hello,

I recently change my computer (now a Macbook Pro 2016 under Sierra) and try to re-setup my workflow (Scrivener / Juris-M / LibreOffice).

Whart i have done :
- install Juris-M / Scrivener / LibreOffice

- install Java SRE 8 => not recognize by LibreOffice
- install the old Java from Apple (https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572?locale=fr_FR), still not working
- install the full JDK and now i see a JRE 1.8 inside Libre Office

- install "RTF/ODF Scan" and "LibreOffice Writer" from https://juris-m.github.io/downloads/#auxiliary-plugins.

Juris-M said that the LibreOffice add-in is install.

But, i do not have :
- the "scannable cite" in export tab
- i can't generate a bibliography in LibreOffice after a RTF/ODF Scan

Spend 4h trying to fix it... someone can help ?

Thanks!!

  • Which version of LibreOffice exactly?
  • Hello adam,

    Thanks for the fast reply.

The last one, i downloaded it from the official website, so 5.1.6002.

On my previous mac, i had the 5.0.5002.

    K.
  • We've found the 5.2 version of LibreOffice with the Java JDK to work much more reliably, so start there.

Ok, i removed the 5.1 and install the 5.2.4 (with the 1.8 JRE active).
I am now able to incorporate my bibliography using my own CSV (after using Scrivener and export as .odt).

But i still don't have "Scannable Cite" in Zotero (reinstalled this : https://github.com/Juris-M/zotero-odf-scan-plugin/releases/tag/v1.0.33).
In fact, don't know if it is necessary, because my bibliography seems good .... ^^

    Thanks adam!
