Style Error: University of West London

Please could you delete this style since the university no longer uses its own version of Harvard. It now conforms to Cite Them Right.

Some students are stumbling upon the eponymous one and using it in error.
Best regards,
Justin

  • Great to hear you now use a style with a properly defined style. We could make this style into a dependent style to cite them right. So students would be automatically use that if they used it.
  • yes, let's redirect to Cite it Right
  • @JustinPaterson
    Just checking the website, it states the Uni uses Cite Them Right, but also APA and OSCOLA depending on what field it is I guess.

    @adamsmith and @Rintze
    I think it makes more sense to just delete this style. So when students write a thesis/document they'll need to look which style they need and can then choose that from the repository. What do you think?

    Fine with me. We can always redirect the old CSL style name to that of our Cite Them Right style.
  • Hi guys,
    Many thanks for your speedy responses! Yes, different departments within the University require a different styles. Most of the University now uses CTR Harvard, but indeed APA and OSCOLA are employed in their specialist fields. I would think that just deleting 'Harvard UWL' might be the least ambiguous approach.
    Cheers,
    Justin

  • Deleted. Users of the old style will be changed over to Cite Them Right.
  • Many thanks for your swift assistance Rintze.
    Best regards,
    Justin
