[5.0 beta] Ctrl-shift-v unexpected behaviour?
Create a new journal article item, add a Note, go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-38610862 and copy the title ('Concerns over first snow and common leopards found in same area').
1) Return to the note and use Ctrl-shift-v (to paste without formatting). A dialogue pops up stating 'The selected file is not in a supported format'.
2) Close the dialogue, in the Note click 'Edit in a separate window' and now use Ctrl-shift-v. The text is pasted into the Note without formatting. Is (1) the expected behaviour?
Thank you

bwiernikCtrl + Shift + V is the Zotero shortcut for "Import from clipboard". So the global assignment in Zotero to that shortcut is overriding the Note function. The developers would have to say whether that is the desired behavior.

dstillmanI've removed Ctrl-Shift-V in the latest build, so pasting without formatting should work in the main windows now. Importing from the clipboard is now Ctrl-Shift-Alt-I (and regular import is Ctrl-Shift-I).

MartinFisherThank you, and I see that Ctrl-Shift-V now works as expected.
