zotero intergration for word for mac (Office 365 uni version)
Hi there,
I've just got off the phone to tech support at the uni where I work, who say there may be issues with the compatibility between zotero and the version of Office 365 available through a uni licence.
I've got both the standalone and firefox versions of Zotero set up, and have successfully installed the plug-ins in word. But when I go to 'add-ins' and click on the little zotero icon I get the following message: "Word could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure that Zotero or Firefox is open and try again" even though both versions of zotero are open. I've tried some of the various troubleshooting tips on this forum, and have restarted all the programs and the computer itself, with no luck.
Any help would be really great!
Cheers.

jekparkerthanks for the response. it turns out that updating the OS fixed the problem. i hadn't even realised the OS was out of date! frustrating to have wasted my time fiddling, but am glad it's fixed. cheers.
