Upgrade Storageenhancement: smart folders containing just most recently stored files
Problem:
As Library fills up, it becomes hard to work with.
desired enhancement:
in addition to the master Library folder, it would be nice to have a smart folder that just held the last, say, 50 added entries. Or it might be, a folder that held only the items added in the current session of firefox.
Discussion:
one could in principle sort the library by creation date. But this is not an ideal solution because one ideally would like away to express the concept of "sort my recent entries by name".
Typically ones workflow is:
find a bunch of things to add. Add them. follow some web links, Add some more. add a few more...
then try to organize these latest additions into newly created category folders.
But then you have to find all the things you just added and if the library is large and one added a lot of things, being able to sort by both recently added and by name or kind would be helpful.

dstillmanThe easiest thing to do would just be to create a saved search with a Date Added or Date Modified condition set to is in the last x days. We'll probably add that as a default folder in new installations in a future version.

cemsAh! missed that feature. Nice. However this seems to sort things funny unless you select "show top level items only". And the category is not pinned to the top of the list below the library.
