Upgrade StorageWord citation can hangs if multiple users logged in
Platform:
mac 10.4.8
word X (not 2004)
Description:
if two users are logged in to the mac, and both have Zotero Running in firefox, then when trying to insert a bib-item into one of the users Word documents, the dialog for the insertion may appear on the other user's screen. Word then Hangs (spinning pin wheel) because the dialog is never completed. The dialog box my version was hanging on was the initial endnote or footnote selection dialog.
Expected behaviour:
1) there should not be any interaction between user sessions!!
2) certainly the dialogs for ine user should always appear on that users screen
3) it should try not to hang word till the dialogs are complete. Barring that there ought to be some way to recover and make word active when it is hung.
4) minimally if this behaviour cannot be corrected Zotero should be lock itself so that only one user can use it at a time from word.
Work around:
assure that no other user is using word/firefox/or zotero before starting word. This is seldom possible however unless users have access to each others logins.
