Citation Style Requests (collection thread)

Hi,
I just went through the Forum searching for "Style request" for about the last 13 months and put them in a spreadsheet and then added the SJR rank and 3yr document indicators to see how important these journals are, so we can prioritise better.
I'm limited here with the forum, so put it into a google sheet:

Thanks for being so diligent. In addition to Zotero forum requests, we also have https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/labels/style-error (issues about styles that need corrections) and https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/labels/style-request (issues about requests for new styles). We typically steer people towards the Zotero forums for making their style requests, though, so you should already have the bulk of it.

Glad you deem this useful. I had already added the style-requests from GitHub, but will add the style-errors, too.
Shall I give you and adam (and others?) access to that google sheet, so we can work on it together?

Yeah, I forgot to mention the "style-errors" label in the styles repo issue tracker. And sure. I'm not sure Sebastian (@adamsmith) or I will have much to add, but write access can't hurt. (you might want to put Scientific Reports higher on your to-do list: it's probably the world's largest journal now; https://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/2016/08/23/scientific-reports-on-track-to-become-largest-journal-in-the-world/)

The settings have been changed now and anybody with the link will be able to make edits.

I have just gone through and added requests from 2015.
This brings the backlog to over 160. Over the last few weeks we've added over 30 new styles and I've learnt a lot from it.
Hope to get this list completely green over next few months, work is picking up again though.

Over 80 styles done, 50 or so proper journals left to do and then a whole bunch of University/Institute styles.
Note for future requests that styles with the requested citation examples provided will get done quicker as it's just easier to find a match to base it on.

202 requests on the logsheet now, but 62% is done now. That is 125 styles.

I've started working on style requests now that did NOT have the examples provided, which makes it a tad bit harder. Keeping you busy Adam and Rintze ;)

An update:
More than 300 styles have now been added over the last 11 months and that doesn't include the number of new dependents.
All that's missing is 17 styles that either have very little documentation/no examples or are footnote styles that take more work. So basically the work is completed and you might have noticed that we can now deal with new requests very quickly as there is no backlog anymore. :)

I can proudly say now, that we've basically gotten rid of the backlog and there is just a few crappy styles outstanding where info is missing/we don't know what style actually is etc.
At least 332 styles created last year and this year another 89.

I'm looking for someone who can make what I hope is a simple edit to the Chicago full note style - just not including the URL. I'm writing a book and Chicago seems the best model for my purposes, but the URLS are too extensive. I'm going to include them elsewhere in a bibliography.

I'd be happy to pay for freelance time to do the change, and also happy to donate the final product to the Zotero citation style library

Now that we actually have data since 2017 on when styles were requested an when they were provided by us I did a quick calculation.

Median: 23 days
Mean: 149 days (due to some styles "taking" 2-3 years to make)
