Linking group library to a MySQL db ?
Dear everyone,
I'm trying to find out if whether or not it is possible to connect a group library to a larger database, for example using MySQL.
Before I continue, I have to say I'm no programmer so I come here seeking ideas for a team project I'm in :-)
As Zotero is open-source, I suppose there is a way to do this, but I'd like to be sure.
The big line of the project is:
- to enjoy Zotero for its reference management features and interface
- to collaborate with people using a public - closed membership group
- to be able to connect the group library to a larger database someday, in which bibliographical references listed in Zotero would be one type of items.
I guess I could auto-sync my standalone Zotero and get the "Group collections" up to date and then use my local copy of the group library to make an input in the bigger database ?
Any ideas would be more than appreciated :-)
Best regards

https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/web_api/v3/start and another database -- but that definitely requires a developer to do.
