Zero length RDF file... Can zotero repair from the 'file' directories?

Hi,
I created an export file from a Zotero installation v 1.0x I am trying now to import into 1.5 but I just noticed that my 'My Library.rdf' file is zero length. The file directories are present with all of the contents in place. Is there some way Zotero could repair that .rdf file so I could complete my import?

Thanks
  • No. The file directories contain only attachment files, not item data. See the Zotero data page for more details.

Do you no longer have the 1.0 data files?
  • No Dan, I cannot find the 1.0 files. For some reason zotero disappeared from my 2.0 Firefox installation. I may have them on another machine that is currently under repair. In the meantime, I am going through each of the file directories, opening up the contents and re-saving. It's a therapeutic exercise. I'm pleased I still have access to all that information. I am very excited about the synch feature and cannot wait to use it. Thanks!!!!!!!!! Oh and thanks for that rapid response :)
  • OK. Zotero data files can't really disappear, even if Zotero the extension somehow becomes uninstalled, so it might be worth searching for zotero.sqlite files on your computer.
